Brandon Crouse began in the car-repair industry in 1992 as a parts driver and in 1994 moved into a sales role. His career was fast-tracked from there as he quickly became a manager. He is currently the location general manager for the Mr. Tire store in John’s Creek, Georgia.
Crouse has been a fan of NASCAR since he was young listening to the races on the radio and watching on local stations. However, it wasn’t until 1997 that the avid motorsports enthusiast was able to attend a race live. It should come as no surprise that his first race was the NAPA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway! This past weekend that first-time experience came full circle as Crouse was able to have a VIP experience with NAPA AUTO PARTS and the No. 24 team. He toured the NAPA AUTO PARTS hauler, met Chase Elliott and was able to sit atop the NAPA pit box with crew chief Alan Gustafson. Crouse can boast that he was able to be a part of a memorable weekend for Elliott as the 20-year-old driver raced his way to his first career top-10 finish, while also being the highest finishing rookie of the race. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Crouse!
How has your experience come full circle from attending your first race, the NAPA 500, in 1997 to this race as a guest of NAPA AUTO PARTS and the No. 24?
“This is no comparison (to any race I’ve been to before). This is the most unbelievable experience being able to sit on top of the pit box and watch Chase have his best Cup race to date. It was just amazing.”
What was your favorite part of the day?
“My favorite part was sitting up there on the pit box watching Alan and the crew work. That was definitely the best part. It won’t ever be the same coming back to a race again. Just having this opportunity and getting this experience, it will never be the same.”
