Justin Mack is a third-generation NAPA AUTO PARTS owner. His grandfather purchased the NAPA store in Safford, Arizona, in 1977. Then, in 1988, his father took over the company. In 2008, after already having spent several years working in the store, Justin was promoted to the general manager position. Today, the Mack Group operates three stores in three different counties.
Mack married his high school sweetheart and together they have four children. The NAPA enthusiast claims he is raising the next generation of NAPA store owners!
Mack was treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience courtesy of NAPA AUTO PARTS and the No. 24 team this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway. Not only was he treated to a private meet and greet with Chase Elliott, but he was also able to meet Elliott’s NAPA AUTO PARTS teammate, Ron Capps – NHRA Funny Car driver. In addition, to spending time with each driver, Mack went on an exclusive tour of the No. 24 hauler, walked the grid during pre-race ceremonies and was able to sit atop the No. 24 NAPA pit box with crew chief Alan Gustafson and NHRA driver Capps.
How was your experience as a guest of NAPA AUTO PARTS and the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports team?
"I am already a true NAPA guy, but this experience increased my appreciation for NASCAR and Chase Elliott. I enjoyed being up close seeing how the pit crew works so quickly.”
What did you learn through your experience with the No. 24 team?
"I have always wondered what they do when they have to pee-that was new information. Also, how demanding the schedule is.”
