Steven Stanley has been a loyal NAPA Auto Care customer for the past 12 years. The longtime NAPA customer has partnered with the company several times to locally advertise his NAPA Pro Image shop. While Stanley is originally from eastern Kentucky, he relocated to the Tri-Cities area for a more prosperous place to run his business and raise his family. Stanley is happily married and has four beautiful children including three daughters and one son. He has been in the auto repair business since the eighth grade when he started working in his father’s auto repair and auto parts business. Stanley has had a few brief career outside of the auto repair business but realized his passion and has come back to auto repair every time. He has now enjoyed running his business in Johnson City, Tenn., for the past fifteen years and has been a great business partner to NAPA AUTO PARTS the entire time. In his personal time Steven runs a six-acre family farm – which boasts raising exotic chickens – and is active in his church congregation alongside his family.
This weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, Stanley’s name adorned the quarter panels of rookie driver Chase Elliott’s No. 24 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet SS to commend Stanley for his business with the auto parts company. As a part of the experience, Stanley received a behind-the-scenes tour of the NAPA hauler as well as a private meet and greet with the 20-year-old driver before Elliott took the track to battle at Bristol. Stanley was able to sit atop the pit box alongside crew chief Alan Gustafson watching Elliott put on quite a show contending for the lead the majority of the time. Unfortunately, due to rain postponing the race event, Stanley was unable to return to Bristol Motor Speedway for the remaining racing action Sunday. However, he will be watching on CNBC as his name makes it’s race debut on the side of Elliott’s Chevrolet SS.
How was your experience as NAPA’s Honorary Pit Crew Member?
"What an awesome day. Even though it rained out we had a great time. The best part was sitting on top of the pit box and seeing Chase take the lead and lead a few laps. The second best was having an entertaining host, that was a great addition to the experience and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you for everything this weekend."
