Scott Putman is the owner of Bullet Auto & Truck Services Center – the largest NAPA AutoCare Center in Caro, Michigan, and has been a loyal NAPA AUTO PARTS customer for the past six years. In addition to his loyalty, he has a strong passion for the NAPA brand and it is well represented throughout his shop. Putman is a true believer in excellent customer service and will go the extra mile to make sure each of his customers are satisfied. Last year his hard work was recognized as he earned an opportunity to visit Las Vegas for the 2015 NAPA Expo – a huge honor. This year, his dedication to his business and the NAPA name has paid off yet again as he was selected as NAPA AUTO PARTS’ Honorary Pit Crew Member for the No. 24 team at Michigan International Speedway.
Putman’s name was featured on the quarter panels of Chase Elliott’s No. 24 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet SS as a part of the program to thank Putman for his brand loyalty. Putman then spent race day alongside the Hendrick Motorsports team receiving a behind-the-scenes tour of the NAPA hauler, a tour of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage area and a private meet and greet with the 20-year-old rookie driver before Elliott took the track to make his mark at Michigan. Putman was even able to attend the drivers meeting before climbing atop the No. 24 pit box alongside crew chief Alan Gustafson and the NAPA AUTO PARTS race engineers watching Elliott race to a second-place position in the Irish Hills.
How was your experience as NAPA’s Honorary Pit Crew Member?
"It was a great day. Being able to watch and listen from the pit box when Chase was leading was very cool. I can’t thank you and the team enough for the opportunity."
