Scott Dixon is the owner of A&A Automotive out of Middleboro. He is currently a NAPA AutoCare Center serviced by Joe Wheelock’s store out of the Boston Distribution Center. Dixon started in the automotive repair business back in 1986. He was able to purchase his current shop location in 1995. He has been a loyal NAPA customer coming up on two years now. Dixon even was able to recently complete a NAPA Pro Image of his location. He is now one of the premier NAPA AutoCare Centers out of the Boston Distribution Center. Dixon has been a lifelong NASCAR fan and has been coming to New Hampshire Motor Speedway since it opened along with visiting many other tracks along the way.
Dixon’s name was featured on the quarter panels of Chase Elliott’s No. 24 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet SS as a part of the Honorary Pit Crew Member program to thank Dixon for his dedication to the NAPA brand. Dixon started his day off with a garage and hauler tour and followed that by meeting Elliott outside of Elliott’s coach. Later in the day, Dixon walked out to pit road where he was able to take a photo at the car and stand with the team for the pre-race festivites. Once it was time for engines to fire, Dixon climbed atop the NAPA pit box to watch the race alongside Gustafson and the NAPA engineers.
How was your experience as NAPA’s Honorary Pit Crew Member?
"I have loved everything it’s hard to pick a favorite part. The logistics are mind boggling though. I've really enjoyed watching them work on the car and prepare for the race. This has been a great experience.”
